Hitting the Road

Hey, all. Just wrapped up a new project that will have to wait until the Fall to debut because I’m hitting the road on June 30th. I’m loosely planning a 2-month bike tour around the Northeast, so feel free to reach out if you want to have a beer or might be into having a crazy slimelord camp in your yard for a night. I’ve closed my shop for now(Threadless one is still open, since I don’t have to fulfill orders myself). If you feel inclined, any purchase from Threadless will aid my travels, or my venmo is @burgerghost if you’d consider throwing me a buck or two. The tour is planned to end some time before September, but I don’t have a home to go back to, so maybe it will go even longer. I’ve enjoyed my time in RI, but I’m not married to it.

Bundles In Shop // BLAST RAG Debuts

I’ve chosen to bundle together some zines in preparation for some virtual tabling events. The first will be Lone Star Zine Fest in Austin, TX. I don’t live in Austin any longer, but LSZF was always one of my favorite events. I’m working on some other ones now, but that is the only concrete plan right now. I miss fests so much. Always the best feeling to meet like-minded artists and zinesters, since we are usually locked away making things alone.

I also launched my new series, BLAST RAG, earlier this year. It’s a book that serves as a collaboration in each issue. The first one is 20 pages each from myself and Ed Kelley. It’s printed so that it can be read from either cover, and is chock full of my usual lowbrow flavors. Check the shop for more info.

New Work Up

Hey, all. Added some new work to both the Illustration and Personal sections, including my lovely ode to Donald Trump. Give ‘em a look.

Today would have been Rot Fest 5. Sadly, I knew the pandemic would cancel it early on, but it led me to finally moving ahead and leaving Austin for good. I’m settled up in Rhode Island now, watching the last of the leaves fall and inking the nights away, busting out commissions here and there. Inktober

I’ve been reading about Inktober since it was started back in livejournal salad days, but I’ve never really gotten further than two or three days. There is usually a prompt or two that just don’t do it for me, but this year I’m trying to soldier thru. Follow my Instagram to keep up-to-date. I may make a little zine out of these later.
