This was a cover for issue 164 of the Boston Compass, a local paper focusing on arts and culture. A rare occasion where I drew the whole thing digitally.

Shirt design for Kyle Shutt’s solo project. He’s also the guitar player for The Sword, a band I’ve been a fan of for a long time now, so it was a blast to do some work for him. He gave me a lot of creative freedom and this is what we ended up with. Logo not by me, though I did my best to recreate it for that old concert tee vibe in the border. Details - 1, 2

I love black metal, especially a lot of the rad logos by guys like Christophe Szpajdel. I find myself turning into a disaffected teenager scribbling in a notebook sometimes, filling up pages with logo designs. Luckily, some folks like ‘em as much as I do, and they are always a blast to do. These are a mixture of personal and commercial designs.
